Good friends of mine, Lauren & Josh, just welcomed their sweet baby boy into this world!  Wyatt could not get any cuter and I just loved spending the morning with him inside Josh and Lauren’s home.  Wyatt was such a good boy for his first close up and I simply can’t wait to photograph many more wonderful moments throughout his life!

One thing I absolutely LOVED was an old pew that was sitting in the main foyer of their home.  I asked to use it for some of the images and I’m so glad that I did! I love the fact that baby Wyatt is resting on this pew that was completely re-done by his handyman dad! (Josh is quite the handyman!)  But also, I love it because I know that Wyatt will grow in a home that is so rich in the faith and if he’s anything like his Mom or Dad, he will have a love of Christ that runs so deep!

Josh is an officer on the Mint Hill Police force, so it was a MUST that we photograph him in his uniform and take a super cute photo with his badge! I just love it! Maybe one day Wyatt will become a police officer just like his daddy! SO CUTE!

Congratulations Josh and Lauren! I am so happy for you both! Wyatt is such a sweetheart and you two are so lucky! Wishing you the best throughout parenthood! You guys already make fantastic parents! Keep it up! XO! -Emma Loo
