Y’all. Meeting with Lauren for the first time in AGES felt literally like a blast from the past! You know those friendships that are like, no matter where you left off, you always pick it right back up?! That’s exactly what it felt like with Lauren & I (…ok, well minus the braces, and awkwardness!) Lauren and I met a long time ago in middle school and from day one of sixth grade, we hit it off! Although we went to different high schools and went our separate ways, we’ve still remained friends and I was just thrilled when she had finally got engaged to Mark AND asked me to photograph her+Mark’s wedding day!
These two will be getting married next October uptown at Bryon’s South End and I’m delighted that I get to be a part of such a sweet occasion! They met me last week at Freedom Park, which just so happens to be the place where “Marky-Mark” proposed! I absolutely loved having these two in front of my camera and SO enjoyed getting reconnected with Lauren! After we spent some time (and drank some Champs!) in Freedom Park, it was off to uptown where they changed into their custom Panther jerseys and headed straight towards the BofA stadium. (Y’all these two are OBSESSED with the Panthers!)
BUT…more on that later! There are two parts to Lauren+Mark’s engagement session, so enjoy part one at Freedom Park below! XO!
