Last weekend, I had the privilege to photograph a 60th surprise Birthday party for a good friend of mine! It was a blast! & Boy! Do the Jetton’s know how to throw one heck of a party AND keep a secret!

Mark Jr. & Natalie (along with their Mom!) gave their Dad a surprise of his life! They gathered about 100 of his lifelong friends and pulled off one great surprise party! Oh, the look on Mark’s (or “Jet” as his friends call him…) face when he walked through the doors at Byron’s South End was priceless! He was in shock!!

I had Phillip tag along with me and second shoot with me and folks — he did wonderfully! I’m just SO proud of him!

When guests first arrived, they were greeted with a cardboard cut-out of “Jet”…lots of people posed with him! What a cute idea! (Now my only question is…who took him home?!) Jet’s three-tiered birthday cake was delicious and made by a family-friend, Private Baker. Oh, the many faces of “Big Mark”! These were a hit!
