Meeting Katie+Evan for the very first time was like meeting with old friends! They are simply the sweetest people & SO down to Earth! Katie+Evan drove all the way to Mint Hill, NC from the Raleigh area for our session together and they’re planning for a May 2016 wedding day right in downtown Raleigh.  How exciting right?!  I simply can’t wait to be there to capture their love story on their Big Day!! 🙂  From the first initial hug hello, we hit it off & became such great friends!

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little bit nervous about meeting Katie+Evan for the very first time and for their engagement session! I’m always a tad nervous at the beginning of an engagement session, especially if it’s the very first time I’m meeting face-to-face with a couple of mine! But soon after the initial nervousness wares off and I click my shutter it’s like “I’m back in the saddle again”! Such a wonderful feeling! Plus, getting these two in some wide open spaces and a field of beautiful blooming yellow wildflowers was just AMAZING!

Katie is absolutely gorgeous both inside & out! But goodness, I can’t wait to see her as a Bride! She is going to be GORGEOUS! And don’t even get me started on her EYES! Absolutely stunning! Here’s a few of my favorites from Katie+Evan’s engagement session! Enjoy! XO!  They are just SO CUTE!

THAT RING! SO pretty! Katie+Evan changed outfits to fit a more casual vibe (which they say they’re casual 99.9% of the time, so it’s fitting!) I loved getting them to stand in the midsts of the straw! It was so pretty!  ADORE THIS! IN LOVE! We ventured a little bit deeper into the field at the very end of our session and Katie LOVED the shack & so did I! Of course, we just HAD to shoot in front of it! I love finding little gems like this! 🙂
