Oh boy! Do I have such a FUN engagement session for y’all today!! I have been so EXCITED to finally share these images to y’all from one of the SWEETEST engagement sessions! It’s quite a surprise to myself that I’ve been able to hold out for this long because normally when I have a cute session, I want to post it ASAP!
I first received an email from Avery back in November or sometime in the fall…what feels like a LONG time ago! She wanted to schedule just an engagement session with me in Charlotte because it’s where her and her fiancé met. Here I was, thinking it was SO FAR out and May 2016 won’t be here for a long time…and then WHAM! It’s May & time for our engagement session together! 🙂
Come to find out, when I met with Avery and Gustavo on the Queens University campus, they actually MET there while they were both in school at Queens! (He played tennis & she played volleyball!) So of course, shooting part of their engagement session on campus was a MUST.
After we shot some on the gorgeous campus, we headed over to their Uptown Charlotte neighborhood & we spent some time being tourists in our own city! (This was SO much fun!!) We even got Rio, their pup, out for a walk! He was THE CUTEST!
Of course, no Uptown Charlotte engagement session would be complete without a city skyline shot, so we ended our session there & it was just PERFECT! Avery & Gustavo just melt my heart! Sadly, I won’t be shooting their wedding since…oh yea! Did I mention, she’s from TEXAS and he’s from Sao Paulo…as in Brazil! They’ll be getting married next July back in Texas!
Enjoy some of my absolute FAVORITES from Avery+Gustavo’s engagement session! EEEEEeeekkk! I love them ALL! It was SO HARD to choose my faves! 🙂
Avery+Gustavo! It was a complete delight to get to know you two and have you both in front of my camera! I appreciate you guys giving me the HONOR to capture such a sweet season of life for y’all! This is such an exciting time in your life and your relationship! Wishing you both the VERY BEST throughout the rest of your engagement and many happy, happy years of marriage! XO! -Emma Loo
