It’s OFFICIALLY SUMMER! (although it’s FELT like summer for the past couple of months now, the first day of summer kicked us off last week!!) Phillip and I have SO MUCH going on in these short & sweet summer months and we definitely want to make the MOST of them!

Between vacation, weekends off, and a couple weddings to photograph here and there throughout July and August, we’re going to have our summer months filled to the brim with things to do! And this is completely OK by me! The more busier we are the better! I can’t sit still when there’s nothing to do! Blame it on my A-D-D (which I’ve diagnosed myself! 😉 ) ….I’ve always got to be doing SOMETHING! 

So we’ve put together a “Summer Bucket List” for the very first time & we thought we’d share it with y’all today…so here it goes!

+Visit Southport, NC for a day-trip on our vacation to the beach! (We LOVE this little town! One of these days, I want us to live there!!)

+Watch the fireworks on July 4th (this is a given, but something we have to do since it’s was really what we did on our 3rd date together! Hopefully we’ll be watching the fireworks in “our spot” on the grass in downtown Monroe! 

+Go to a baseball game

+Day trip up to the Blue Ridge Parkway/Boone/Blowing Rock area

+Picnic in the park!

+Visit a Vineyard

+Lots of lake days on the boat!

+Get our backyard DONE! (We’ve pulled out all of the big bushes that have been around our house since it was built in ’69! Now to lay out some white gravel, buy a picnic table, hang some market lights, & decorate out there!) 

+Paint our house! I want to have this done before FALL! I’m TOO excited!

+Clean out our closets & cabinets and have a garage sale! (We did SO good at our last garage sale & we really need to clear out some stuff that we don’t use or need!) 

+Go to the Georgia Aquarium (we’re going to ATL in August! Can’t wait!)

There’s plenty of more things I’d like to do…but I think we’ll stick to a shorter list this year & see how it goes! Hopefully we’ll have all these crossed off our list before the first leaves start to fall! 🙂 What’s on your Summertime Bucket List?!
