When it comes to Kaitlin and Trey’s wedding day, the word “AMAZING” just doesn’t seem to cut it! Kaitlin and Trey’s wedding day was way more than amazing…it was downright AWESOME! From start to finish, their entire day was filled with so much love and excitement, but also their day felt relaxed and fun…even throughout the stressful times of getting ready and trying not to see each other before the ceremony.
When I arrived to Trey’s parent’s house…which by the way, was also the VENUE for their amazing wedding day!! (And believe me, this wasn’t just some “backyard wedding” that it may sound like!) This was a beautiful tented soiree which BLEW. MY. MIND. when I pulled up into their driveway!! Not only was I in awe of just the beauty of the wedding itself, but also how casual and relaxed every person in their families were! Trey’s Mama (& puppy! So cute!) greeted me at the door with a huge hug and a “make yourself at home” attitude, and y’all…that was just in the first 5 minutes of their wedding! It was such a joy to be welcomed into their home & capture one of their most important days of their lives! What a blessing!!
Kaitlin and Trey committed their love and lives to one another under the shade of the old pine trees where they call home. With their families and friends watching, they said “I do”, kissed, and walked down the aisle towards the rest of their life together! Being able to witness such a special moment written into their love story was just amazing!
After about a year of emails, phone calls, texts, and even dinners out…I’m seriously SO sad to see their wedding day come and go. Kaitlin and I were friends before we even met (thanks to the wonderful world of social media & Instagram!!) and she has a special place in my heart as not only one of my #EmmaLooBrides, but also a dear friend!
