Emily emailed me on a whim seeing if I would be available the following week for her and Chad’s engagement session since they would be in town for the weekend.  Since these two live in Tennessee, between our busy schedules and being miles apart, I knew that it wasn’t going to be easy trying to schedule their engagement session! (Plus, have y’all noticed how FAST the year is going by?! Holy smokes!) So when I saw that part of my weekend schedule was clear, I knew that this was definitely meant to be!

Meeting Emily and Chad for the very first time was incredible! As soon as they stepped out of the car, I immediately thought they were old friends of mine…like we had all gone to school together and we’ve known each other for years.  After spending time with them during their session, I realized how incredibly perfect they are for one another! They just have fun together, complement each other so well! They just get one another and I absolutely loved that about them! Plus, they’re such a cute couple, too! Plus…if these two had THIS MUCH love even when it was 100+ degrees…I can’t even imagine how much love they’ll be showing on wedding day! These two didn’t flinch when I told them to snuggle up real tight even with a crazy high heat index! Emily and Chad…You guys are amazing!

It stinks that Emily and Chad’s wedding day seems so far away because I can’t wait to have them in front of my camera again…but I guess I’ll just have to wait until April 2017! If their wedding date is anything like this year has gone, it’ll be here before we know it! Enjoy some of my absolute favorites from their engagement session!

Oh! One more thing to note! I was SO EXCITED when I drove past this tree right before their session while I was doing a little last minute location scouting! I have been looking for a massive tree like this for YEARS and I FINALLY found one! I got so excited that I texted Emily right away and told them to meet me at the tree instead of our original location! Funny how things work out, aren’t they!? I was just about to turn around and stop location scouting while I was on my way to meet them and then looked over and there it was! You should’ve seen me! I was SO SO giddy! It was like I had won the lottery or something!!
