Who would’ve thought that I would’ve met one of my #EmmaLooBrides back in the 6th grade?! I think Jen said it best-the universe must’ve known I was meant to photograph her wedding! Way back in the day, when Jen & I were in middle school together, we became good friends, but little did we know that one day our friendship would take us all the way to her wedding day! I say it so much, but I don’t feel like I say it enough…it’s quite an honor to do what I do. To capture a wedding day and to document the very first day as Husband and Wife. And boy, was it something special to get to capture Jen’s very first day of married life. What a wonderful day it was!
Jen and Seth were married at Parker Binns Vineyard in Mill Spring, North Carolina…and talk about a beautiful venue!! Y’all. This vineyard was absolutely STUNNING! Being surrounded by rows and rows of pretty grape vines is pretty neat, but what is spectacular is the view! The wedding barn is nestled in the Tyron foothills, and goodness…those mountain views are breathtaking! When I first pulled up, my heart was beating! I was in photographer heaven! The sun was shining bright and from the looks of it, the sunset would be almost magical. That is, until clouds started rolling in! Thankfully, it didn’t rain! So we were able to keep the original outdoor plan, just without that pretty sunset…which the owners of the vineyard… (who were also the wedding bartenders!…y’all. It was so cool! This place & the owners are truly one of a kind! One of the best venues I’ve ever worked at!) They told me the sunsets were quite amazing!
Although we didn’t have one of those signature Parker Binns sunsets, Jen and Seth’s love for one another shined so bright! Brighter than any sunset, that’s for sure! What I love about Jen and Seth was just how at ease they were with one another all day long. Everything was SO natural for them. They were having a blast with one another, their families, and their wedding party! They enjoyed every single second of their wedding day and never let anything stress them out. For the entire day, they just had FUN! It was SO sweet to watch these two share together day one as Husband and Wife!
Jen planned and put together their wedding day so perfectly! From the sweetest Bridal Details (you’ve got to see the most precious little ring box!!) to their gorgeous ceremony altar and to their beautifully decorated reception tables…it was all so lovely! Plus, Jen’s dad is quite the handy man! He made all of the signs, easels, cake stand and the guest book! How cool is that?! Talk about a wedding planning family affair! Planning a wedding is SO much fun (stressful, but fun!) To see Jen’s vision and her Dad’s hard work all come together on wedding day was quite something!
Jen and Seth! It was quite an honor! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture your Day #1! I’m so glad the universe knew we were just meant to be! You guys are just the sweetest & I’m SO very happy for you both! XO!
Enjoy some of my absolute favorites from Jen+Seth’s beautiful wedding day! I just love these two, their wedding day images, and I hope you will as well! XO!
