You are going to just love this wedding! This wedding began at the Bride’s home church in Gastonia, which just so happened to be a church that my very own father-in-law used to preach at! What makes the world seem EVEN smaller???….. the Bride and Groom went to HIGH SCHOOL with my husband! Yes! Isn’t that crazy!? What a small world, right?! I absolutely LOVED shooting Danielle’s Bridal Details! She has a very girly and classy, Southern style which I absolutely love! Plus, she has the same sort of obsession with Kate Spade as I do! (Just wait until you see her shoes! They’re PERFECT!) From the very beginning of the day, I knew that this wedding was going to be a fabulous one!
As I was photographing Danielle and Eric immediately following their ceremony, the sun was shining so bright and beautiful and those two were so excited, giddy, and overwhelmed with happiness! They had just exchanged their vows and because of the sunset time being so close to their ceremony we had to start their Romantic Portraits RIGHT after the ceremony! You should’ve seen me! I was literally chasing down the horse drawn carriage they exited the ceremony in! I’m sure the wedding guests got a good kick out of me chasing it down with my cameras in tow! I loved so many parts about Danielle and Eric’s wedding day at Lewis Farms in Gastonia. It was all perfect! From their sweet ceremony in front of an old white barn, to Danielle’s sweet Tennessee two-step with her Grandpa, and the super fun champagne pop after portraits. PSA announcement future Emma Loo Brides: make sure to pop champagne with your wedding party after the pictures are finished! It was SO FUN!
One other part that I loved about their day was Danielle reading a letter from Eric right before the wedding festivities started. She was dressed and ready to head to the venue and she read Eric’s sweet letter alone. She started tearing up and of course, her Maid-of-Honor was right there to lend her a tissue! (That’s what best friends are for!) She finished reading the letter and said “he did good!” and I thought it was so funny because that’s the SAME THING I said after I had read Phillip’s letter on our wedding day! Danielle and Eric are truly two wonderful people with so many people who love them and SO MANY friends! They had one of the BIGGEST wedding parties! It was so great working with them, capturing their beautiful wedding day, and I can’t wait to show off their wedding!
