From the moment I arrived at Ritchie Hill for Amber and Logan’s wedding day, I was wrapped in comfort and love from their entire family it seemed like! Amber and Logan had quite a team to help bring their wedding day vision come to life and everyone was putting tables together, hanging decorations, and making sure that Amber and Logan’s day went completely perfect. If you spent time with Amber and Logan you would understand why they had so many helping hands set up their wedding!! They are one of the sweetest couples and they’ve definitely got one big amazing family and set of friends who love and care so deeply for them!
Amber and Logan’s wedding day was perfect from the start! These two were married on the front lawn of the historic and amazingly beautiful Ritchie Hill wedding venue! It was my first time out to Ritchie Hill and it did not disappoint! The bridal suite alone is worth hosting a wedding out there! It’s so swoon worthy! After they said “I Do” we started immediately with romantic portraits since the sun was setting and it was already so dark due to the clouds! While we were shooting the romantic portraits, Elizabeth, the venue manager was helping fluff Amber’s train (thanks Elizabeth!) She reminded me (again!) of why I loved Amber and Logan SO MUCH! Amber and Logan actually planned their wedding date around MY availability! I was flabbergasted! What?!?! Someone pinch me! To say that I was quite honored to know that they had changed their wedding date to fit my schedule would be an understatement! I was FLOORED! How amazing is it to get to photograph such wonderful couples like Amber and Logan!
Amber and Logan shared in a “First Touch” and said a prayer together just moments before the ceremony began. Just wait until you see it! I seriously felt time slow down during this moment that the two of them shared! It was incredibly beautiful! Another sweet moment of their day was when a lady bug started crawling across the window sill in the Bridal Suite where Amber was getting dressed. Sadly, Amber’s mom passed away a few years ago and while she wasn’t able to help Amber get dressed for her wedding day, we all felt her presence in the room! Amber said ladybugs reminded her of her Mom, so I like to think it was her Mom’s way of saying to Amber that she was there with her in spirit! It was so beautiful!
I hope you enjoy some of my absolute favorites from Amber and Logan’s special wedding day! It was a JOY to photograph and an honor to be a part of!
