I had the absolute joy and honor getting to photograph the sweet Tackett family for the second time…for their second pregnancy! (You can see their first session with me here!) 

Ashton, hubby Kurt and big sister Brayden met me actually in my own backyard for the start of our shoot! Call me crazy, but I thought our cherry blossom tree that was in almost full bloom would be a PERFECT way to begin! I’d been out searching frantically for locations that week trying to look for anything that looked like spring or trees in bloom and had no luck! It wasn’t until the session day I was taking Darcy-Loo out for a walk when I noticed OUR OWN TREE! How could’ve I missed it before?! Just a testament that you literally can find beauty EVERY WHERE…only if you be still and look for it!

I had so much fun with these three and during our shoot together, I put the camera down and said “Y’all…this is the LAST TIME I’ll photograph you as a family of THREE! Can you believe it?!” Soon their sweet baby girl will make her way into this world and I simply can’t wait to meet her! But for now, enjoy some of my absolute favorites from this sweet maternity session! Ashton, you are literally GLOWING my dear! I am so so happy for you and Kurt!
