There’s not much that I love more than a pretty barn, a sweet ceremony, and a fun wedding party! Jessika and Rusty’s wedding had all three and their day couldn’t have been more perfect! This was my very first time photographing anything out at The Barn at Oakboro and it hopefully won’t be my last time! The home-turned-venue was the perfect backdrop for Jessika and Rusty to say “I Do” in front of all of their family and friends in late April.  Just wait until you see the sweet reception space…all of the mismatched china was collected for the wedding by Jessika’s Mom! It was such an adorable detail!

What made Jessika and Rusty’s wedding day even more special was seeing one of my past #EmmaLooCouples at the wedding….Sierra and Bryan!! (Remember them?!) It was like walking down memory lane when I saw Sierra and Bryan (who just so happened to be in the wedding party as well!) and it was so great seeing them and catching up! Even their daughter was the flower girl! She was beyond precious! One of my favorite moments of the day was seeing how comfortable and how in love Jessika and Rusty were! During portraits, those two were so smitten with one another and I was so happy to see them so happy! Jessika had been through a lot a couple of weeks before their wedding day, so it was so wonderful to see them both so relaxed and happy! It definitely made my job capturing their excitement and love story pretty easy.

Their wedding was the first of twelve straight wedding weekends in a row and I simply can’t wait share this sweet wedding day with y’all! I hope you like some of my absolute favorites from Jessika and Rusty’s rustic wedding day at The Barn at Oakboro!
