Kalin and Jonathon are married!! They celebrated their special day at one of my favorite venues in the Monroe area — Rolling Hill Farms! Such a beautiful venue, and it’s not hard to see why it’s such a favorite of mine! Everything is SO beautiful there! So when Kalin first emailed me talking about Rolling Hill Farms being their wedding venue…I was beyond excited to say the least!

Kalin and Jonathon had a beautiful wedding day! Even if the clouds rolled in and out all day long and drizzled here and there…the clouds or rain couldn’t keep them from enjoying their big day! Their families and friends surrounded them with so much love and excitement, and soon after the two said their vows, portraits were taken, and the dance floor opened up…it had started to POUR down rain! It was one big sigh of relief when I saw the rain pouring outside after all of the important portraits were taken! I guess it’s just a funny reminder that God will always provide and He is in complete control! (I was freaking out there for a bit before the ceremony watching those big clouds roll in, that’s for sure!! So thankful we were able to get all the portraits taken though!)

One of my favorite parts of the day was seeing Jonathon’s reaction when Kalin came down the aisle. But what was even more precious was how her dad couldn’t keep his eyes off her either! It was so special seeing two very important men in Kalin’s life look at her with so much love! I so adore moments like that and sometimes have to remind myself not to cry (too much!) since I have a job to do! It’s quite hard to be emotional AND a wedding photographer…especially during sweet moments like that!

Another part that I loved was seeing how great and supportive their families and friends were! Even when it was SO hot, muggy, and BUGGY! (hey! That rhymes!) Yes! That’s right! There were SO MANY bugs/flies flying around during portrait time!! I call them “no-see-em’s” but there were these little flies ALL AROUND during ALL of the portraits! Everyone was so uncomfortable and annoyed by these bugs, but they sure didn’t show it in the portraits! Everyone held it together for a few brief moments and enjoyed it the best they could for Kalin and Jonathon! It truly made me so happy that everyone was SO EASY to work with despite the major bug problem!!

I was SO honored to be a part of this wedding day! To capture their wedding was truly such a blessing and I am so happy to have such great friends! Kalin and Jonathon-it was quite an honor! Thanks so much for allowing me to capture day #1 of your marriage! It was a blast! Best wishes you two lovebirds! XO!
