Caitlin+Jason | Wedding Day - Emma Loo Photography

The familiar sound of The Backstreet Boys was playing as soon as I walked through the doors of the beautiful and historic home in the Plaza Midwood neighborhood of Charlotte. When I was greeted with all smiles from Caitlin and big hugs from all of her bridesmaids, I knew that the day was going to be a great one! When a Bride is so trusting, so sweet, and so genuine, it’s easy to know right from the get-go that her wedding day will be great. But when a Bride and her bridesmaids all breakout into dancing to “Backstreets Back (Alright)” there is absolutely NO DOUBT in your mind that the wedding day will be AMAZING from start to finish. For Caitlin and Jason’s wedding day…it was just that — simply AMAZING!!

It was a beautiful late day in May, the kind of days you wish and pray for on your wedding day. The sun was shining, the air was cool for a Carolina spring day, and the Van Landingham Estate was a gorgeous historic home that provided the backdrop for such a special day for Caitlin and Jason. I loved so many things about their ceremony and their day. I loved that Caitlin’s sister/Maid-of-Honor was able to make it to the wedding (she had just given birth to her first baby exactly two weeks before!!). I loved that Jason and his groomsmen were so sweet and took their roles of “GQ” models seriously! And I loved how welcomed Phillip and I felt amongst their families and friends throughout the day. It was a great day indeed!

Caitlin and Jason’s day was packed with lots of fun, sunshine, family and friends, great live music, and my favorite part…a cute cupcake truck to top it all off! But most importantly, their day was packed full with lots of LOVE! Caitlin and Jason are two people who are so madly in love with one another and it’s so easy to tell! Between the glances at one another from across the room, the hand holding, and the way that they didn’t want to let go of one another even when my posing was done and my camera was down…they were having too much fun and they are so in love! It was delightful to witness and be a part of! Their wedding day and their love story is quite easily one of my absolute favorites! In fact, their wedding day was Wedding #95 for me…but it’s definitely in my top 10 favorite weddings, that’s for sure! I just adore these two!
