Fall 2017 Mini-Sessions | FAQ’s & How to Register!

Fall Mini-Sessions by Emma Loo Photography are BACK for 2017 and we are just SO excited to capture such sweet memories for your family! Book your Mini-Sessions soon because sessions will fill up fast! This will be the last opportunity to photograph with Emma Loo Photography for 2017! Registration opens for Mini-Sessions on Monday, September 25th at 12:00PM EST!

DETAILS:

  • 20 minute session with Emily Hinson of Emma Loo Photography in the Charlotte area.
  • Your choice of 20 high resolution images with print release
  • Online gallery of images available for 2 weeks

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Additional gallery images will be available tp purchase via online gallery
  • North Carolina sales tax and Eventbrite processing fee will apply
  • Non-refundable payment is due at time of booking session

TO REGISTER:

  • View available dates & times on the Eventbrite site. Choose your session & make your payment via Paypal.
  • PLEASE NOTE ALL SALES ARE FINAL & PAYMENT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.  Taxes and processing fees do apply.
  • Emma Loo Photography will send a Mini-Session Agreement within 2 business days of booking to confirm your mini-session time and date.

 

FAQs + Additional Details 

 Q: How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Please email emily@emmaloo.co with any questions.  Emma Loo Photography will answer all emails by the next business day.  Office hours for Emma Loo Photography are Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

 Q: What’s the refund policy?

All sales are final and payment is non-refundable.  No payment will be returned to buyer for any reason.

Q: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

A: No.  There will be a check-in station before your session begins where an Emma Loo staff member will collect your signed Mini-Session Agreement, along with your name, email, address, and telephone number.  After check-in, your mini-session will begin.

Q: When will Mini-Sessions take place?

A: Mini-Sessions will take place on Sunday, October 15th between 2:00pm-7:00pm, Sunday, October 29th between 2:00pm and 6:30pm and Sunday, November 5th between 2:00pm and 5:30pm.

Q: What will the mini-session scene be this year? 

A: Unlike previous mini-sessions, there will be no scene or prop set up this year!  We will provide a blanket for seating on grass, but nothing else will be provided from Emma Loo Photography.  We want to keep things simple this year and capture the joy of families without the fuss of setting up props and such! If you’d like to bring any of your own props, please feel free!

Q: How many images will we receive?

A: Within 7-10 business days after your Mini-Session, you will receive an invitation to view an online proofing gallery This proofing gallery will allow you to see ALL of your images from your Mini-Session with Emma Loo.  We average 85-150 returned images per mini-session.  You’ll be able to choose 20 images from your proofing gallery and download those images in high resolution.  If you love more than 20, you’ll be able to purchase additional image downloads via the online gallery.

Q: How long will Mini-Sessions be?

A: Mini-Sessions are 20 minutes.  We will use the full 20 minutes to photograph your session.  Mini-sessions will not exceed 20 minutes.

Q: Where will Mini-Sessions take place?! 

A: Mini-Sessions will take place in the Charlotte area at McAlpine Business Park. The location is great because it offers a woodsy, natural area with lots of trees and wide open space as well.  The lighting is so pretty and golden at this location and it’ll look perfect in the fall months! Q: How many people can be included in a Mini-Session?

A: Mini-Sessions can include any number of people.  However, it is recommended that larger groups (12 or more) purchase two mini-sessions back to back to ensure enough portrait time for everyone.  The person making the reservation will be the only one who will have access to the online gallery.

Q: What about dogs? 

A: Dogs are definitely welcome! Just be sure to bring a leash, some treats, and a squeaky toy to keep your pet’s attention.

Q: Can we change outfits?

A: Given the shortened timeframe of the mini-session, there will not be time for outfit changes.

Q: What if we’re running late to our Mini-Session?

A: Unfortunately, this happens and I completely understand.  I request that you plan on arriving to your Mini-Session at least 10 minutes BEFORE your scheduled mini-session time.  If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled session, your session time will be voided and your mini-session will have to be rescheduled and credited towards a full session.  Your session coverage will begin at your scheduled session time…so the longer you’re late, the shorter amount of time you have in front of the camera.  I really hate to be that way…but it happened a lot last year & held up other families who were on time! There will be NO refunds for missed or late mini-sessions.

Q: What will happen to our Mini-Session if it rains? 

A: Unfortately, the weather is out of our control and something we risk being an outdoor location. If it rains on either Mini-Session day, those sessions will be rescheduled to Saturday, November 18th.  That is the ONLY make-up day for inclement weather ONLY, so if you’re unable to attend the makeup day, then your session will be credited towards the purchase of a full session at a later date.  There will be NO refunds for any Mini-Session purchase.

Q: How do we sign up for a Mini-Session? 

A: Mini-Session registration begins on Monday, September 25th at 12:00pm EST.  Registration for these Mini-Sessions will be held via Eventbrite.  These sessions are on a first come, first serve basis….so book early! Sessions will fill up FAST!

Q: How much are Mini-Sessions? How do we pay? 

A: The cost for an Emma Loo Holiday Mini-Session is $200! North Carolina state sales tax and Eventbrite processing fees will apply.  Payment will be required at time of registering for Mini-Session via the Eventbrite website.  Payment will be made via Paypal on the Eventbrite website. All sales are final and payment is non-refundable.  No payment will be returned to buyer for any reason.

Q: We missed online registration! Can I just book a Mini-Session with you through e-mail?!

A: Unfortunately, due to the high demand for weddings, portrait sessions, and mini-sessions this year…I will not book any other portrait sessions until 2018.  The ONLY way you’re able to book a Mini-Session will be through the Eventbrite website.  I am also not able to hold or reserve any Mini-Sessions via email or Facebook messaging.

Q: What about prints?

A: Included with your Mini-Session is 20 high resolution images along with printing rights.  You’ll be able to print your images anywhere you’d like.

Q: I’ve booked the Mini-Session! Now what? 

A: Once you’ve booked your Mini-Session, you will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days of your booking with an attached Mini-Session Agreement.  A signed copy of the Mini-Session Agreement is due at check-in on your scheduled mini-session date and time.
