Mel and Ryan were my very first engagement session of the season!! I am SO EXCITED to get back into the swing of things and behind camera for the 2018 wedding season! If Mel and Ryan’s engagement session was any indication of how the rest of the wedding season will go, then it’s going to be one wonderful year!

Sadly, I won’t be photographing their wedding day in September in Pennsylvania, but I am so delighted that I was able to photograph their sweet engagement session at Jetton Park at Lake Norman!!

Mel was a bridesmaid in a past Emma Loo couple’s (Lindsay & Andy) wedding last year, so while her and Ryan were visiting them they scheduled a session with me!  I was thrilled when I got her email inquiry and I couldn’t wait to get together with them! I only had one stipulation…we had to do something fun after the session…and we did!!  We caught up with Lindsay and Andy for small plates and drinks at a lakefront bar as the sun set!! It was so much fun and so wonderful to see Lindsay and Andy again!!
