I absolutely love meeting couples for the very first time! There’s something so exciting about meeting for a couple for the very first time at their engagement session! I usually like to meet with a couple before they even book their wedding day with me, but sometimes with our schedules, we just can’t line something up! Usually a phone call or a Facetime will have to do! That’s exactly what Devan and I had to do before she booked her wedding…we had to have a phone chat, so we weren’t ever available to meet in person until the engagement session!! I just love meeting with couples at their engagement session and instantly hitting it off with the couple!! At Devan and Chad’s engagement session, I did just that!! I knew within 5 seconds of meeting those two that we were just “meant to be”! It was perfect!!

Devan and Chad decided to photograph their engagement session at their wedding venue! I’m so glad they did because Johnson Carriage House & Meadows is THE PERFECT backdrop for ANY kind of photo session! I was so over the moon to get to venture up to the Mooresville area to spend the afternoon with them!
