Caitlin+Jason are getting married next year and I couldn’t be happier to capture just part of their love story at their engagement session.

These two absolutely LOVE Charlotte (I mean…who wouldn’t?!) and sadly, they don’t call the Queen City home right now since their move to Washington D.C. a few months ago. So when they were down here for a weekend to plan their wedding day, we knew it’d be perfect timing for our engagement session together! Since the two lovebirds plan to make Charlotte their home again in the next few years, we decided to make the Charlotte city skyline a part of their session & boy, does that view NEVER disappoint!

After spending the afternoon with Caitlin and Jason, it just made me 100 times more excited for their wedding day!! Some couples are a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera for the first 10-15 minutes of our session, so that’s why I tell them the first 20 minutes of shooting is really just “a wash” anyways! However, Caitlin and Jason were SO DIFFERENT! They were SO COMFORTABLE, so giddy, so excited and so adorable right from the get-go! They kept the ENTIRE session so light and fun, and honestly, if they sun hadn’t of been setting I could’ve photographed those two cutie-batooties forever!
