So for my desk, I wanted a more simple desk space. I can’t stand a messy desktop on my computer-so how could I even work with a messy desk space?! I knew I wanted a corner desk in white, but everything I found at stores (i.e. Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, even Office Max!!) were just TOO expensive! (This is my first home office space..I didn’t want to splurge too much…let’s get real.) So I headed to IKEA and found this desk in white and at a good price too! ($140! Can’t beat that!) Then I decided to buy another desk just like it and put them together, hence, the corner desk! It looks great! And I’m SO beyond happy with the choice I made!
I keep all my receipts for a while in this cookie jar I picked up at Wal-Mart one day. It’s a great way to keep up with all of my spending. When the jar gets too full (like it is now…ehhmmmn..) I then empty it out and categorize the receipts! It’s a little bit of a conversation piece within the office and it keeps my receipts from flying all over the place!

I bought this daybed off of CraigsList for $75. I knew I wanted a home office, but I didn’t want to give up one of my convented bedrooms either…especially since we frequently have out of town guests coming into town! I knew I wanted to keep a bed in there, but I didn’t want a “bedroom” look! Instead, I opted for this daybed and put some of my linen bedding on it to make it look natural and inviting! I do a TON of editing on this daybed and I love to lay down on it for an afternoon nap every now and then!

One of my favorite finds..ever. I found this adorable little pillow from The Go Girl Shoppe while at the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte last month. This adorable little shop had some of the CUTEST handmade things in it, and I just HAD to buy it…A pillow with my favorite song lyrics on it…(and from the OCMS version, of course!)
