My heart always starts to flutter the moment I open a wedding inquiry email.  First of all, I’m quite honored to even be considered to photograph one of a Bride+Groom’s most perfect day of their lives.  But on top of that, I’m even more excited to make two new friends that I’ll not only get to spend their wedding day alongside, but to also cherish their friendship and capture those important moments for them many years down the road.

When I opened an inquiry e-mail from Kayla, I felt that heart racing feeling.  Here was a Bride-to-Be (who found me on Instagram of all places) & who has decided that my eye & my lens should tell her+Michael’s love story.  My heart fluttering as I read every line.  Even after the 40+ weddings I’ve photographed, I STILL get excited when I am asked to photograph a couple’s wedding day — it’s such an honor!

Kayla and Michael fell in love at a YMCA summer camp where they were camp counselors.  So, it was only natural that their engagement session be at that very camp where these two lovebirds hit it off.  We traveled down to central Florida’s YMCA Camp Wewa and had a wonderful time walking around with Kayla+Michael (or Mikey, said in a New Jersey accent, as I like to call him!) Spending the afternoon with these two in such a beautiful place was pure delight. I can’t even wait for their wedding day coming up in October…it’s going to be one for the record books, that’s for sure!

…Oh! & forgot to mention! Kayla hooked us up with Disney Park-Hoppers to enjoy while we were down in FL for the weekend! We SO enjoyed our time at the Magic Kingdom & can’t hardly wait to go back…but with our kids next time! 😉 

Kayla+Mike — Y’all…thank you SO so much! We had such an incredible time with the two of you & felt right at home in Florida! (We may just have to move there one of these days!) I can’t wait to spend your wedding day with you two & I wish you both the best rest of your engagement! XO! -Emma Loo
