Jessica+Adam’s engagement session was such fun! These two sure have a love for “Crown Town” so an engagement session in the Queen City was a MUST! Back when Jessica and I were planning for their engagement session in Uptown Charlotte, we had NO IDEA how BUSY it would be! I don’t try to shoot up in Charlotte on busy, busy days like weekends or Sundays when the Panthers are playing…but WHO WOULD’VE thought that are HORNETS would do this good in the playoffs?! The Hornets were playing against the Miami Heat last Saturday night and it seemed like the ENTIRE city of Charlotte was “BUZZING” to get to the arena….(ahh ha! See what I did there?!)

THEN don’t even get me started on ALL of the construction that was taking place in Uptown! Phew! That’s why I’m glad I’m a country girl living out in the Monroe area! I’ll take a slower way of life ANY DAY! But meeting with Jessica and Adam in Uptown was just delightful! When I met these two, I felt completely at ease, comfortable, and like we had been friends for a while! Something SO SPECIAL to me! It may have been the fact that Jessica and I seemed to hit it off right from the first inquiring phone call or it could’ve been the fact that their two pups were just the SWEETEST! Those two were just so much fun to photograph! I just LOVE it when my couples bring their fur babies along! It really makes for an interesting session, especially for this dog lover! And plus, it REALLY makes me SUPER excited for August to rush and get here so I can have a puppy of my own!

Jessica and Adam will be getting married this upcoming August (yet ANOTHER reason why I want August to just get here! Hehe!) and they’ll be saying “I Do” at the fabulous Charlotte City Club, one venue I’ve never been to, but I’m SUPER excited to shoot there! I’ve heard it doesn’t disappoint! These two, ah! I just can’t get enough! I simply loved having them in front of my camera and can’t wait to see them on their wedding day! Their love for one another is just so sweet and I can’t wait to celebrate their first day as Husband and Wife with them!
