{Just a teeny-tiny disclaimer before we get WAY into this blog post…I’m pretty much obsessed with Karen and Jason! These two are just adorable and I’m not going to lie, but I’m a little sad that their wedding day is over! When I first spoke to Karen over the phone, I was shopping in an antique store and as soon as I got off the phone with her…I was smitten! She was seriously THE. CUTEST. and that’s just from TALKING with her over the phone! Lord only knows what her and Jason would be like in REAL LIFE! That’s why when I met these two at their engagement session, we became instant friends!}
Karen and Jason actually MET each other at the Wells Fargo Championship Golf tournament held here in Charlotte a couple of years ago. They were sitting randomly beside one another in the grandstands and when they should’ve moved on to the next hole, they stayed and got to know one another…and the rest is history! 😉 What a romantic way to meet, am I right?! Who would’ve thought that you could go to a golf tournament and find your soulmate?!
Even though Karen and Jason picked the hottest day of the year to exchange their vows (although not true anymore!…have you been outside lately?!), their families or friends didn’t mind (especially since there were the cutest little fans that were handed out at the beginning of the ceremony! How thoughtful!) Besides…how could you think of anything else while witnessing such a wonderful moment as Karen and Jason said ‘I Do’!? I don’t think a smile ever left Karen’s face all day long…she was just swooning all day! As the happy couple were making their way up the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife, Karen was laughing and smiling at Jason and said to him “Wasn’t that so much fun?!…That was the best ever!” Y’all. My heart just went wild! How awesome, right?! Karen and Jason were filled with SO much excitement for getting married and it was so present in each of them! Gah! I love my Emma Loo Couples, that’s for sure!
The mercury may have reached 100 degrees on their wedding day, but that didn’t stop Karen and Jason from dancing the night away and having one heck of a party with their families and friends. They had quite the celebration and it was absolutely beautiful! Enjoy some of my favorites from their picture-perfect wedding day. It truly was such an amazing day for two sweet people! Congratulations Karen+Jason! XO!
Jason’s First Look reaction was priceless! How wonderful it was for him to see her, be completely in awe of her, and get to tell her how beautiful she looked right before the ceremony! And it definitely calmed some nerves, that’s for sure! First Looks are just amazing and a beautiful way to start a wedding day!
Karen+Jason’s Wedding Day was beyond perfect! Thanks to all of these AMAZING vendors who help make their day one-of-kind! XO!
