A Romantic Blush & Gold Wedding in Charlotte, NC
I have to admit. The weather forecast was giving us a good scare about a week before their wedding! While Allison and I were doing our wedding week FaceTime chat and I could tell she was very nervous about the 80% chance of rain on her wedding day…and I was too! I wanted to make sure that Allison and Jonathon’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful for them…and goodness! Did we worry about nothing! When wedding day finally rolled around…it was sunny, clear and beautiful!! We were all just SO happy!!
Allison looked absolutely stunning in her gown and her Bridesmaids were in tears when they saw her for the first time with her completed wedding look. When she went outside to tap her Dad on the shoulder for the Father-Daughter First Look, she took his breath away and believe me, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight! Shana and I were both tearing up since it was such a sweet moment! I’m SO glad when Brides choose to do this special First Look before their wedding day activities start. It was such a powerful moment between Allison and her Dad, and I’m sure they’ll never forget it!
Allison and Jonathon chose to do a First Look before the ceremony and I’m SO glad that they did! It was absolutely beautiful in the walking trail by Providence Country Club so we knew that it would provide such a romantic location for their First Look. Jonathon was all smiles as soon as he turned around and saw Allison for the very first time on their wedding day! He couldn’t stop smiling, and I don’t blame him! What a happy, happy day for such a blissfully in love couple!
Their church ceremony was “picture perfect” as her Dad described and I couldn’t have agreed more! As the newly announced Mr. & Mrs. Hancin made their debut out of the church doors, lavender was tossed in the air for the happy couple! Jonathon got to his “Husband Duties” early by picking out some of the rouge lavender out of Allison’s hair and it was SO CUTE y’all! He’s so good to her!
After the ceremony, it seemed like the party NEVER stopped! The dance floor at their reception was PACKED the entire night and we (yes…even I chimed in!) sang to all of the covers from Hot Sauce Party Band, especially when Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi came on! The new Mr. & Mrs. waved a final goodbye to their guests and dipped for one last kiss during their sparkler exit and it was so beautiful to watch this happy couple leave their wedding reception. The sparklers couldn’t outshine just how special and loved their families and friends made Allison and Jonathon feel throughout their entire day! I can’t wait to share some of absolute favorites from their beautiful wedding day! Enjoy this Providence Country Club wedding!!
