This is definitely not a before-&-after post! That’s for sure! I like to think of it more as an “in progress” post! That’s the story of our house! It’s always “in progress”! Before, I’d be totally not okay with something being in progress-I’m a “get it done, and get it done now” kind of girl! However, now that we’re living in our home that we’ll be in for the next few years, I realize that my style and tastes may change while we’re living here, so I’ll never be completely satisfied with the way a room looks, and that is OKAY!!

Our whole home has gone through a huge amount of changes, but one of the most significant changes (with the littlest amount of work!) has to be our bedroom! We LOVE our bedroom, however it’s not technically considered the master! (Strange, right?!) Our house was built in 1969, so there’s no huge walk-in closets or mega-bathrooms connected to our bedroom.  Basically our bedroom is an 10×12 rectangle with one window, and two little (and I mean microscopic!) closets.  So needless to say, it’s been quite a decorating challenge but we’re making it work! (That’s our house motto!)

We recently got rid of an IKEA bookcase that took up a lot of room in our bedroom and found this vintage curvy dresser, which I LOVE! The white bedside tables were hand-me-downs, and the floral chair was my great-great-grandmother’s! I’m thinking of recovering the fabric on it, but I haven’t decided yet! What do y’all think??!
