OK y’all…it’s official…I’m about this____ close at finally getting caught up with my blogging from the crazy-past month I’ve had in May! (Y’all, I need to hire an assistant or something to help me keep up with blogging/publishing in my busy months! This blog backup is killer!)
I’ve got such a special story to share with y’all today! It’s something I have never done before but I’ve always wanted to do it and I couldn’t think of a better couple to do this with! A couple of weekends ago I shot my very first proposal!!
Although I felt like a Ninja the majority of the time and I felt like I was creepin’ while following Matt and Lisa around Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, I was delighted when Matt finally got down on one knee to propose to Lisa…and of course, she said YES! How could she not?! And her gorgeous ring was a bonus, that’s for sure! Just wait until you see it! It is SO pretty!
After his sweet proposal, we then headed around parts of the gardens to take some sweet romantic portraits of those two lovebirds and it was just precious! Those two are just adorable and Lisa couldn’t stop staring at her beautiful ring! After our session was over and Lisa thought we were heading out of the gardens, Matt had surprised her by having her family waiting for them in the White Garden! She was SO surprised and I loved being able to capture those sweet moments of the family seeing them for the first time since the proposal! It was so darling catching Grandma looking at Lisa’s ring on her hand… you could tell that she was SO happy for both Lisa and Matt!
It was SO exciting to be able to capture such an exciting moment in their lives and y’all it was just plain fun! Seriously! I felt like a paparazzi mixed with a private investigator and a little bit of a Ninja! So girls, if you’re wanting your proposal to be photographed like Matt and Lisa’s you better let your man know & tell him to get in touch with me! I absolutely LOVED capturing it!
Matt+Lisa- Wishing you two simply the best as you make your way through your engagement and into your marriage! I hope wedding planning is easy as pie for y’all and you plan for a beautiful marriage because if you do that, your wedding day will be more than perfect! Congrats guys! XO!
