Walking into Carrigan Farms in Mooresville is like walking into a dream world. There’s nothing quite like it and the location is simply to-die-for. I mean it y’all. This place is breath-taking. What was at once a rock quarry is now turned into a wedding venue complete with sandy beach for the ceremony and a covered shelter for reception. {Oh, and did I mention-a royal blue pond in the center of it all and high rock walls that surround the place?!}

It was simply a perfect location for Casey and Nicol’s wedding day. In fact, I believe that this venue was made especially for these two!  The beautiful wedding day was filled with tears of joy, beautifully written vows to one another, barefoot dancing under the Carolina blue skies, gluten free cupcakes on top of a wonderfully handcrafted wooden tiered cake stand (made by Casey himself!), and a bride and groom send off through a showering of paper airplanes (such a cute idea…since Casey is a pilot!)

I just know Nicol had put lots of thought, time, and attention to all of the wonderfully crafted details at their wedding. Signs with famous love quotes greeted guests as they walked the wooden deck boards down to the ceremony location. (Even Nicol’s bridesmaids held “Just wait ’till you see her” signs as they walked down the wooden aisle.) Family and friends were also asked to leave wishes of love and happiness for Casey and Nicol on the Wishing Tree as they arrived. There wasn’t a detail that didn’t go unnoticed and Nicol and Casey certainly outdid themselves!!

This was definitely one of those times where I had to take a step back and take it all in for a moment. Being able to be with two wonderful people on their wedding day, and create beautiful images of the day that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives is truly such an honor. (It’s even bringing tears to my eyes now!!) I love this job. I absolutely love it.

Casey+Nicol-Y’all are just too adorable for words! I swear, I didn’t have a dry eye during the ceremony…those words you two wrote to each other were so beautifully written and so true…I still get goosebumps thinking about it! You guys have no idea how your love has inspired me! I just love being able to be with couples like you two and capture your wedding day! I am so honored to be apart of such a beautiful day in both of your lives.  I can’t wait to see how your love for one another grows and the adventure love will take you on! Thank you SO much for making me a part of your wedding day and inviting me into your lives as your friend! Love you both! Congrats y’all! Can’t wait to see pictures from the honeymoon!
