Yours truly, Emma Loo, is back in action! After spending the last bit of 2014 slaving over tremendous amounts of school work, getting engaged!, buying our first home and doing all the heavy renovations too, oh! & did I mention loads of that 18 credit hour mass amount of schoolwork earlier?! It seemed like I was always behind a schoolbook-rarely behind my camera. Oh and have I hated it. Anywhoo…more on that later.  I will catch you guys up with all of the details shortly. After months of doing EVERYTHING but photography, it has felt so good to be back behind the camera taking pictures of lovely couples again. {goodness, it is SUCH a blessing!} And I couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick-off to the 2015 Wedding Season (my very own wedding season too!) than to photograph Marissa & Nate in downtown Charlotte!

I don’t think there was a better location than downtown Charlotte for these two! Plus, I don’t think we could’ve picked a better date than what we had (minus the CROWDS!) Oh my word, the weather was beautiful! {Buh-bye 40 degrees!}

Marisa and Nate are getting married this Labor Day weekend at the Mint Museum Uptown and I’m just so excited for their wedding day! These two absolutely LOVE Charlotte and everything it has to offer! (In fact, they even schooled me in a few new breweries and hot spots downtown…don’t you just love snazzy-downtown friends?!) Here are just a few of my absolute favorite shots from their engagement session this past weekend!
