There is something so special about being invited back into a family’s story again and again. Sweet baby Sally’s newborn session was extra meaningful to me because this was my third newborn portrait session with this wonderful family. Being trusted to document these milestones over the years is one of the greatest honors of what I do.

This beautiful Charlotte in-home newborn photography session took place in the comfort of their home, where everyone could relax and simply soak in these first precious days with their newest little love. In-home newborn sessions have such a natural and heartfelt feel—surrounded by the nursery carefully prepared for baby, favorite cozy spots in the house, and all the little details that make these memories uniquely theirs.

Baby Sally was absolutely precious and so loved by her family. Watching her siblings interact with her and seeing the joy on her parents’ faces made this session incredibly sweet. These are the moments that matter most—the tiny fingers, sleepy cuddles, proud siblings, and the quiet love that fills a home when a new baby arrives.

Having photographed this family through multiple newborn seasons now, it means so much to continue preserving their growing story. Seeing families grow and being invited back for each chapter is what makes this work so meaningful to me.
