Brandon and Lindsay are truly such a wonderful couple! Their love and affection for one another is simply contagious! Surrounded by all of their family and friends, the pair said “I Do” at The Vineyard in Gastonia, NC on October 12th. Although the rainy weather kept us limited to our shooting time, the wedding was such a blast and it was so great to be able to spend the day with this couple on their first day as husband and wife! Oh my word y’all! I just love these two so much!!
Some of my most favorite things about their wedding day:
-Lindsay got emotional at first when she put on her dress for the first time. Being a part of many weddings from before, I knew she was nervous/anxious and going through so many emotions! (I mean, who wouldn’t be!?!) I loved the fact that after the “first look” with Brandon, all those emotions were long gone! She was so happy to see Brandon and wasn’t nervous at all afterwards! I’m so happy they chose to do a “first look” and I’m glad that it was able to calm her nerves!
-Being with Brandon while he was waiting for Lindsay to tap him on the shoulder for their first look was pretty special! I know it was pretty emotional for him too, and Lord only knows how anxious he was to turn around and see her!! When he turned around and couldn’t keep his eyes off Lindsay, oh, I was just smitten!! Those two are adorable!!
-Lindsay’s bridesmaid, Sammy, said one of the greatest toasts I have ever heard at a wedding. Seriously though, Lindsay is so blessed to have such a great friendship like that!
-Lindsay and Brandon waved “goodbye” to their friends and family after a sparkler exit out the front door of The Vineyard. It was such a perfect ending to a lovely wedding day!
Lindsay and Brandon, it was truly an honor and such a joy to photograph your wedding day! I’m so overjoyed to not only have such amazing wedding clients, but also such amazing friends in this life like y’all! Phillip and I are so excited to be able to spend some time with the new Mr. & Mrs. Ray! Enjoy many wonderfully, loving years ahead! Much love-XOXO, Emma Loo
